“Downtown Jersey City”, oil on linen,     48″x 60″, 2012

Tim Heins, Hoboken NJ based artist, born Trenton NJ

After painting figuratively since 1980, I ventured into abstract painting in 2015.  I’ve enjoyed the challenge of painting myself into and out of paintings and have felt liberated by the process.  I now go back and forth between Abstract and Representational painting.
