FARSIDE BLUES JAM, HOBOKEN, N.J. For the past 2 years I’ve been going to the Far Side Bar in Hoboken to draw during the Blues Jam on Saturday afternoons. The House Band opens up the session for an hour or so at 4PM, then musicians who sign up on a board are mixed in for the Blues Jam. It’s great music with many top flight musicians, and young up and comers, who cut their teeth with the support of more seasoned performers. Jimmy runs the Jam, and Izzy runs the bar.
